Knit Picky is a quality yarn shop that conveys an easy approach to stitching. We are tucked into a 1910 vintage house in the historic Hanes Town area of Winston-Salem.

The warmth of the shop beckons you to drop by, pull up a chair, relax in the lounge and have fun! Play with yarn, pick a new pattern, match some buttons, and share stories. Experienced staff is always available. And our yarn...well, you just have to experience it for yourself!

Our brands include Berroco, Blue Sky Alpaca, Cascade, Crystal Palace, Debbie Bliss, Katia, Lorna’s Laces Louet, Malabrigo, Noro, Opal, Plymouth, Schaefer, Spud & Chloe and more. We carry needles by Lantern Moon, Hiya Hiya, KA and the popular Addi Turbo by Skacel. We’re also excited to support some of our favorite independent dyers like The Unique Sheep, sKnitches, Miss Babs, Blue Ridge Yarns….and others.  We proudly distribute the clever patterns of The Stitch Poet;  our friend Champagne Maker is amazing!  Come in for the best yarn experience in the area!
